About
Artist’s Statement
Originally from Brighton, East Sussex I discovered a passion for sculpting at age six and have pursued ceramics ever since. In 2023, I moved to the Isle of Anglesey and founded my own ceramics business to focus on hand-built ceramic sculptures. My work draws inspiration from folklore, magic and the natural world.
My work is guided by intuition and a deep connection to the land, sea & sky drawing from Celtic, Druidic, Norse, and older ancestral traditions.
I use techniques like mark making, sgraffito, and oxides to infuse each piece with detail and storytelling. Through my art, I aim to evoke wonder and connection, encouraging others to explore their own narratives through sculpture.
Larger Sculpted pieces and collections will be stamped with the Bryn Teg Ceramics Makers Stamp for Authenticity.Contact me directly if you are interested in any of my work. My stock rotates frequently so I can arrange to send photos of available ceramics.
